A Wicked good Easter

The weekend started out how most of our Easter weekends do, dying the easter eggs. I think tradition is so important and the kids love doing it every year.

Sunday morning the kids woke up excited for their Easter baskets. They get a Easter Basket filled with candy a new Easter outfit and what ever fun stuff I find. I hide the baskets and they have to go hunt for them.

My sister surprised me this year with tickets to Wicked. She had bought extra tickets and was going to sell them but with time running out she decided to send them to me. Yay me! Thanks Athena :)

Brian didn't want to go to Wicked(not his 'thing') He said he'd take the kids and go do something fun with them. So I called my mother in law, Susan. She was excited to go see it with me, even with it being Easter Sunday. We had a good time. I LOVED the play it was worth seeing and I would definitely go see it again.

This is a picture of the stage. The dragon was really cool but I didn't get what it had to do with the story? I don't remember any dragons in Oz.

After the play we went back to my in law's for Easter dinner and a Easter egg hunt. We have the egg hunt at grandma's house with all the cousins every year, again it's tradition.

After the Easter egg hunt we had dinner, so good and ate way to much of course! Sue had a scavenger hunt planned for the kids where at the end of it they get a gift from her. This is her second year doing it and I think she is going to have to keep it going every year, the kids love it.

Here's a picture of Kent, He just past his 7 month anniversary since his liver transplant. I am happy that he is doing so good. He works hard at gaining his strength back and getting into good physical condition.

This is a picture of Traci, my sister in law. She is pregnant with her first child. We have been waiting for this for a long time. We were beginning to think that they weren't going to have any kids. She is due in June and having a boy!
