Baking, baking, baking and holiday candy making.......

My family would be the first to say that I am no baker! I rarely bake anything all year long unless you count store bought cakes and cookies as baking :) But around Christmas something comes over me and I turn into Betty Crocker! I think it mostly has to do with my mom. She also did not bake to often unless it was Christmas and I loved it! So I want my kids to have that same tradition. Now they get excited and start asking me 'when are you going to make Fudge' and 'I can't wait for you to make peanut butter balls.' Plus I give all this stuff out as Neighbor gifts as did my mom.

I love having family traditions, some old from my childhood and Brian's and also the ones we make as a family! Some of those include: Going to see the 'South Towne' Santa because he is the real one, baking and candy making, decorating the tree together, making homemade ornaments, kids recitals, sledding, driving around to find the best Christmas lights, watching Christmas movies and opening ONE gift on Christmas Eve.

I love everything about the Holidays and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!!!!!!
