The kids and I just got back from our annual trip to San Diego to visit my sister and her family. Oh my gosh, We had so much fun!

My brother Jason came down with his family also. It was great that all the cousins got to spend time together.
Athena and Scott put in a new backyard which includes this fabulous pool. We spent a lot of time back there barbecuing and swimming. The swimming pool got so much use!

It was great weather also, 75 degrees and sunny the whole time! Needless to say we had a blast at the beach! we had so much fun playing in the sand, digging for sand crabs, boogie boarding and just playing in the water!
We went to La Jolla and explored the tide pools. There were a lot of squirrels and they were not scared of us. they would practically come right up to you. The squirrels kinda freaked the girls out.

Every year Scott takes the kids to a baseball game. It's kinda become a tradition. This year they went and saw the Angels play the Yankees. The kids made signs for the game and everything.

Our last day there was AWESOME! Scott went fishing with the kids at Oceanside Pier and Athena and I went downtown to see the Broadway Play, Fiddler on the Roof.
First we ate lunch at The Fish Market right on the water. YUM!
Then we went to the show. Tevye was played by the legendary Topol. He has played that role over 2500 times and won a Golden Globe in 1966 for that role in the movie Fiddler on the Roof.
We met up with Scott and the kids in Coronado for dinner. We ate at a fun little fifties diner that had a ice ceam store connected to it. It was a great way to end the trip! I love our trip that just the kids and I go on every year and I love going to visit my sister! We ALWAYS have so much fun. I can't wait for next year!
