I really wanted to post this last week, I can't believe how busy I have been. Anyway.... Last weekend I was able to get away for a few days and go visit my sister in San Diego, which is always a fun time. This time it was just me, no kids!!! We didn't do much the first day I got there. I saw her new back yard, which is gorgeous and I can't wait to use the pool this summer! Then we made dinner and a rum cake for dessert. Friday we went and saw Four Christmas's, did some shopping and had dinner at Macaroni Grill. We spent all day Saturday baking holiday treats. We made fudge and caramel and a gooey butter cake. Her house smelled very yummy! That night they took me to Christmas Card lane, which is a neighborhood that all the houses are decorated really cute for Christmas. Then we went to eat at my favorite Mexican restaurant, El Torito's. I flew home Sunday just in time to make it to my nieces birthday party. We had such a fun time, I love going to San Diego and spending time with Athena and her family. I think that I need to make 'sisters weekend' a tradition every year! Michelle, you need to come next year. No kid's and wine, need I say more?!? :)
